Neil Thompson

Thompson has coached at the u19 National Team Level, NCAA DI level, DA level and currently works for the new MLS franchise, Los Angeles Football Club also know as LAFC.

Thompson who started working within professional soccer system aged 16 is a former professional goalkeeper for Carlisle United, Barnet and Hull City (England). Thompson has also got U.E.F.A cup experiences to his credentials as he represented Llanelli AFC in Sweden against Allsvenskan team Gelfe IF. (Swedish premier division)

Thompson has made a huge impact on the Chicagoland goalkeeping scene since arriving in the United States through his international goalkeeping specific organization Big Cat Goalkeeping.

Thompson and his Big Cat Goalkeeping staff direct goalkeeping specific programs for clubs around the US and conduct camps across North America and the UK.

Thompson brings a wealth of knowledge and his methods have guided waves of goalkeepers to go on to play Professional, National Team, NCAA, DI, DII, DIII and NAIA College soccer.

Neil Thompson has also been a key figure in the development of the US U17 World Cup National team goalkeeper Alex Budnik who is highly regarded internationally. Such accomplishments make Neil Thompson the number one choice for a number of pro goalkeepers during the off season who apply their trade both in the US and in Europe.
